Dear Prospective Investor,
Welcome to the India’s first Direct-to-Investor Mutual Fund house! We would like to thank you for sharing your details with us. Quantum is one of the smallest mutual fund houses in India and it means a lot to us to get to know you so, while we have your contact details and we regularly share with you our communication, we still don’t have the privilege to call you our esteemed investor.
There may be multiple reasons for you to not invest in Quantum. So, before moving further we would like to introduce Quantum Mutual Fund, properly.
We are Quantum Mutual Fund, launched in 2006. When you invest in us, you need to recognize that there is an opportunity by investing in stock market. Moreover, we want you as our investor to recognize the people behind Quantum who manage your money, the philosophy they adhere and the process they follow. That eventually leads and determines the performance.
What you are waiting for?
Ideally your investment should start from your first salary. But it’s never too late. At Quantum, our Fund Management team aims to manage your money prudently by giving decent returns.
You should take your investment decision based on your age, income, financial goal and risk carrying capacity.
Based on our experience, let us look at some possible questions you might have and our responses for the same.
1. Is it a good time to invest in mutual funds? How much should I invest?
There is no right time or wrong time to invest in mutual funds. Stock markets across the globe are active and they keep changing daily. It is difficult to predict the markets next move. As an investor, you should target your financial goals and not market levels. Keep in mind that long term investing with specific financial goals is advisable and the amount of investment should depend on your financial goals. Though the minimum amount to start a SIP (Systematic Investment Plan) is Rs. 500, planning to invest with the aim of higher education, then you have to invest accordingly.
2. Mutual fund is subject to market risk. If the markets fall, then I have to book loss.
Markets rising and falling on every day. As a long term investor you should not worry about volatility. Stay invested until you have not met your financial goal.
3. All Mutual Funds are same. What is special with Quantum Mutual Fund?
Business is the same for all fund houses and they are well regulated by SEBI. However, every fund house has unique business philosophies which resonates their values and ours say simplicity, transparency and integrity. Quantum aspires to be India’s most respected mutual fund house and not only biggest while aiming to continue delivering steady performance over the long term. Quantum Mutual Fund commits to providing you with sensible, risk-adjusted returns over the long term through a disciplined research and investment process. 4. I have some financial problems at the moment. Can I invest after some time?
You can invest any time as per your convenience. But don’t forget the key points which drive returns on investment like age, income, risk taking capacity. The most important factor is age. Rise in age curtails risk taking capacity and at the same time it adds financial responsibilities which leave fewer amounts for saving. It’s advisable to start investment at an early age. Above all, you need as low as Rs. 500 to start an SIP in mutual fund.
So whenever you decide to take the plunge in the world of investing, remember Quantum will only be too happy to help and coach you so that the dive is as smooth and seamless as possible.
