Key Responsibilities:
- 1. Record all activities of Funds, Separately Managed Accounts, Retail PMS, and Proprietary Accounts in Wealth Spectrum (Portfolio Accounting System), ensuring correctness of entries (Trades, Income/Expenses, Corporate Actions, Pricing, etc.).
- 2. Manage cash and perform daily reconciliation of cash balances.
- 3. Reconcile cash, holdings, and NAV with Custody reports on a daily basis.
- 4. Support daily trading activities of the Funds, including post-market trade verification with broker contract notes.
- 5. Issue settlement instructions to Custodians for trade settlements.
- 6. Prepare Fund Transfer Instructions and send to Custodians.
- 7. Perform daily portfolio accounting and valuation for Equity Funds and client accounts.
- 8. Compute Daily and Weekly NAVs of the funds, review and authorize NAVs.
- 9. Prepare end-of-day reports for internal teams, including Compliance and Fund Managers.
- 10. Prepare SEBI month-end reporting data and submit to Compliance.
- 11. Assist seniors in preparing regular management reports, monthly factsheets, newsletters, presentations, and ad-hoc reports.
Expected Skills:
- • Good understanding of Investment Management Operations and Capital Markets.
- • Knowledge of pre/post trade compliance systems.
- • Strong sense of urgency, accountability, and ownership of work; deadline-driven.
- • Proactive, self-motivated, and team player.
- • Excellent English communication skills – spoken and written.
- • High proficiency with MS Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint; Adobe knowledge is a plus.
- • Familiarity with Bloomberg and Reuters.
- • Maintain high accuracy with numbers and present data via graphs, charts, and tables.
- • Ability to analyze data, forecast implications on client portfolios, and focus on risk control.
- • Working knowledge of Wealth Spectrum Order Management System and Portfolio Accounting software.
- • Strong accounting knowledge desirable.
Education & Experience:
- • MBA/MMS (Finance) or B.Com / BAF / BBA.
- • 2 to 5+ years of relevant experience in Indian PMS / AIF.
- • Knowledge of offshore funds’ share class-wise fund accounting, performance fee accounting, series equalization is an advantage.
